Aegialis Hotel & Spa is located in the north part of Amorgos Island, nearby the port of Aegiali. Standing on a hillside overlooking the lovely bay of Aegiali, Aegialis Hotel & Spa offers a breathtaking view into the deep blue of the Aegean and to the surrounding islands of Nikouria, Donousa and Koufonisia. Between the main sandy beach of Aegiali and the beach of Levroso, Aegialis hotel is a maximum 7-10 minutes’ walk away from the crystal clear waters of Aegiali bay. The overall location of the hotel is so unique that it will amaze any visitor at first sight. As it is a kilometre away from the Aegiali port it makes it a pleasant walk if you choose to take a stroll to the town or a two minutes drive with a car.
A bus stop is conveniently located right outside of the hotel, making the transportation for the guests easy. Taxi cabs are to your doorstep so you don't necessarily need any wheels of your own, also scooters and cars are available to rent. Amorgos Island is a remarkably unspoiled island at the South Eastern edge of the Cycladic group. It is an island where traditional customs are still inextricably interwoven into a landscape as rich in its beauty as in its history.

From our Tradition Kitchen: Opened in 1993 the Ambrosia Gallery Restaurant aims to encourage the guests of Aegialis Hotel & Spa to discover the traditional Amorgian Cuisine and at the same time enjoy the international dishes. For the last three years, Ambrosia Restaurant is certified by "AEGEAN CUISINE", an organization that recognizes the firms that demonstrate the rich culinary tradition of the Aegean and offer local products at a quality level.
The Restaurant offers a comfortable interior room decorated with paintings of the French artist Michel Constant and a large outside terrace with an outstanding view over the Aegialis bay and the surrounding villages, where you can enjoy several days per week traditional Greek live music.
Wine Testing: Take the opportunity with Aegialis Hotel & Spa wine demonstration to taste and discover the subtle flavours and spices of the different wines produced by the Greek vineyards. During this event your taste buds shall travel to all the quality production areas of Greece as you learn to appreciate our Greek wines.
